Childbirth Education Classes help to educate and prepare parents for what to expect during childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Classes are held at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and are taught by the maternity nurses. Each class focuses on a different topic such as the stages of labor and breastfeeding.

Robin is a practicing birth doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor in New York City where she teaches childbirth preparation, newborn care, and lactation classes at New York University Langone Medical Center, and for her own practice, Flourishing Birth. She is the Program Director of NYC Lamaze Childbirth Educator Program where she teaches and mentors those from all over the country who aspire to be Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators. She serves as President of Lamaze International's Board of Directors and has contributed to periodicals such as The Guardian, Romper, and Glamour. You can also catch her as a host in seasons 3 and 4 of The Lamaze Podcast. Robin is a native New Yorker splitting time and birthwork between her 2 favorite islands, Manhattan and Martha’s Vineyard.
